Shipping and Delivery

Order Fulfillment
Orders, for in-stock items, are shipped within 1 business day(24 hours) - typically most orders are shipped on the same business day as ordered. Orders received after 3pm ET typically ship the next business day.

 

Shipping Vendors
Orders are typically shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) - Ground Service. Orders may also be shipped via UPS Air Services (Next Day Air, 2-Day Air, 3-Day Select.) at the customer's request. Orders shipped via UPS can be tracked via package numbers. Typically, orders weighing over 1 lb are most economically shipped via UPS. By providing your email address, package tracking numbers will be emailed to you once your order is shipped. This will enable you to track the shipping progress of your order.

Orders may also be shipped via the US Postal Service (USPS) at the customer's request - however be aware that shipments sent via the USPS are not tracked via a package number, and therefore Blue Moon cannot guarantee delivery.

Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are determined once you order is assembled and packaged. In this way we ensure you are charged the exact shipping amount for your specific order. When your order ships we will send you a confirmation email.

Delivery Timeframes
The amount of time required for order delivery to the customer will depend upon several factors, some of which are:

  • the shipper's level of service selected for transportation - UPS ground service is typically used unless the customer specifies higher cost next day or 2-day air services, or 3-day select.
  • the distance of the customer's location from our fulfillment location here in western New York state
  • whether the customer's location is within a business, residential, or rural area (listed in order of delivery priority), and
  • the effectiveness of any in-house receiving and delivery services.

Tracking Undelivered Orders
Before calling Blue Moon to track an undelivered order, please first check with your internal Receiving operation, or with other people in your area who may have accepted delivery of your order. If an order still cannot be located, then contact Blue Moon. If shipped via UPS, we will contact them, track the location of your shipment, and call you back.

Shipments processed via the US Postal Service at the customer's direction cannot be tracked and delivery is not guaranteed. By authorizing us to use the USPS, you release Blue Moon from delivery responsibility.
